I’m EJ! Nice to meet you.

I’m from Boston, MA, and I’m a mild-mannered nonprofit employee by day, visual artist by night.

 

I started my current art practice in 2016. I confined myself to pencil, Sakura Micron pens, and Copic markers, until I made the leap to digital in 2017. Since then, I've fallen in love with watercolors, and enjoyed blending watercolors and digital.

The inspiration for my art comes from anywhere and everywhere, especially my favorite myths and stories (I'm a huge nerd), space and the ocean, mystic poets (my favorites are Hafiz and John O'Donohue) and brazilian jiu jitsu (Shoutout to Gracie Barra Boston). I think that art is a way to imagine a different and better world.
